6.0L Swap Questions

I plan on keeping the truck for a good while now and while changing water pumps on in it started thinking. I plan to one day swap motors when the time is right and i just wanted to start asking a couple questions. First of all does everything bolt up the same like engine mounts and what not. I guess im asking how hard is it to get the new motor in there in the first place. So i guess this is where Dan needs to chime in and Dan whenever you get to this where did you start removing everything

Well i was just asking questions. I know i have the capability to do it i just wanted to see some of the problems. are several of the parts able to be removed from the 5.3 and swaped to the 6.0

Yes, but if you modify the 6.0 much you may as well beef up the tranny.
