I tried to find whitewalls for the Caddy the last time I put tires on it...
The only one I could find were Vogue Tyres ... but none of them are "V" rated... :( :crybaby:

Do it. Mustard and mayonnaise FTW!

I considered it... but none of them were "V" rated.. :(

You do 150 MPH often?

Not really, but I like to have a good safety margin...
It isn't unusual for it to run at 120+ for extended periods ... traffic and conditions permitting, of course.

Volkswagen, Mazda and Subaru are keeping the manual transmission alive, moreso than anyone else... I can't live without at least one stick car in my possession. My Jeep's auto, but it's also better as a wheeling rig with an auto. My DD Grand Cherokee, though, has a Cherokee manual swap... :D

The only thing worth missing is the clutch pedal.

Tapes suck, whitewalls dont look good on anything made after the '70's, vinyl tops look dated and dont belong on modern cars and halogen lights are much better than sealed beams.

Clutch is the only one I'm sad about.

White walls and vinyl tops are sweet on the right vehicle though.

I couldn't own a car without a stick. I always planned to have a car again, someday

I'm OK with a daily driver AT car. Driving the Accord in traffic here will make you glad it's an auto.

Anything sporty would have to have a stick...

I have a Mazda CX7 at work, with the 6 speed auto. I am constantly putting it in the sport manual mode. That car needs a manual so badly. Just odd not having one.

In a daily driver, I could see what you mean.

My only problem with the clutch pedal is daily-driving in heavy traffic. I don't mind to shift the gears, but honestly I hate to use the clutch pedal for every stop-and-go...

Sometimes I really wish my truck had a 5 speed. It makes driving more fun.

Other times though its nice to just put it in gear and forget about it.

My previous daily driver had a 5 speed and I kinda miss that. My Mustang came with an auto but I hated the auto so I had a 5 speed put in it and it was much more fun to drive. Car still sucked but thats another story for another day.
