That'd take too much work.. They "entitled" to a better view of the action and opportunity for a lawsuit if something bad happens....

I just wonder who thought it made sense to put a gate in the middle of a turn where the forces would tend to thrown any debris right at the fence? Admittedly, I'm not a huge NASCAR guy, so maybe there's some reason it has to be right there, but it sure seem like sticking it on a straightaway where the forces would be perpendicular would make more sense.

I think it's the circle track nature of NASCAR that puts people off. I love road racing myself. NASCAR doesn't have the appeal of F1 or Grand Am / Rolex to me, but I am still somewhat interested in it.

Oh, I'll watch for a few minutes here and there, and sometimes the last 5-10 laps, but the rest of the race is just filled with the commentators talking while everyone drives in a circle. I'd just assume be doing something else more productive during talk time.
