Since the 3000 mile oil change has ALWAYS been a lie fabricated by oil change franchises, it's about fucking time they quit telling people that is what they need to do.

I'm up to 7500 miles between changes using synthetics.

Yeah I was playing along.

I have found that the synthetic comes out looking very much like it did when it went in at 7500 miles. I'm very comfortable with that interval. DIC on the Honda says about 20% life remaining and on the truck about 15-25%.
