Bummer!

 I used to run that stuff when ARCO stations had it for 95 cents a gallon. Anybody remember the pump at the ARCO stations with the corn cob sticker on them

It was like 90 octane.

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
We need to stop subsidizing businesses in general. Oil companies that make billions and we give them tax money? Farmers getting paid NOT to grow crops?

Time for that crap to go away.

I'm glad I didn't have to point this out.

I'm a big ethanol guy but the tax breaks really aren't necessary. Just like the oil industry, GE, banks, auto companies, etc. :fume:

Thank goodness! I am tired of having to buy stabilizer to stop all the water buildup in my motorcycles and my boat.

I know right.... I poured the gas out of my chainsaw the other day and it looked white:ohnoes: and it hadn't been in there long

:wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

I've heard a lot of Ethanol criticism in the past, but this is a new one. Congratulations! :jester:

There are quite a few problems on the Cadillac forums with rusted fuel lines... especially on cars that don't get driven much.

Didn't used to happen with REAL GAS... but it does with ethanol.

Like I said, I'm a Ethanol guy. My ethanol fanboyism makes daddy's love for :apple: look like :brain:

I'll admit ethanol is hard on fuel lines. Hard on old carbs and fuel pumps. Hard on lots of things. But I've never heard of it turning white in the tank

Maybe there was some sort of calcium build up it pulled out? :dunno:

I have not heard of it turning white either...
I probably HATE IT as much or more than you like it...  :rollin:
I think it was one of the worst ideas that our dumb Govt ever came up with... :fume: :fume:

I don't mind guys not liking it. I personally don't think the gov't should force guys to use it. Even in Iowa, the largest corn producing state in the nation, you can buy ethanol free gas

I've just made it my life's work to defend its honor! :jester:

You can't buy ethanol free gas in Texas.. except at a few isolated places...
In my trips... "MOST" of the United States has "ONLY" ethanol laced gas...
I am always happy when I can find REAL gas... without ethanol in it... but that is getting harder and harder to do.
My car runs a little bit better and mileage improves a little bit.
