I'm now on Medicare,officially old.
Question: If you're going to lower the rear of the truck, why not pull the lift blocks instead of buying a drop kit?
She just rolled 31K miles. Lifetime mileage average is 14.3 MPG. Not too bad, really.
I found all my notes. So I averaged 12-12.5 on that trip @ 60 MPH. Any faster, and the mileage was in the toilet. I had to stretch it between stops.
So now, with 2200+ more weight (conservatively) and going 15-20 MPH faster, I get 1+ MPG more.
I will take that.

My 6.0 is like that. If I baby it and try to keep the rpm's below 2k I'll get around 13mpg. If I get the rpm range around 2400k I can get almost 15 & 1/2mpg.
The Nittos have 30K on them, now. Looks like half tread is left, I will measure them
