Dude, you should get the air bags, then. All of my HDs have had overload leaf contact at about 1" from the jounce bumper. I have never had the springs settle in, or sag like you mentioned, though.

On the 4 newer service trucks we have, he had to add RideRites to keep them off the jounce bumpers with the weight of the service bodies, those things will loosen your spleen bouncing off those things all day

Got the paint protection film on the hood. It has come a long ways in the 10 years since I put it on my first truck. At 2000 miles, I already had some rock chips. I even had a couple on the fender "flares" on the leading edge I filled them with touch up paint, and took it in.

I got the XPEL self healing stuff put on, with a 10 year warranty. Man, it is almost impossible to spot! Use to be, white was the worst color to put it on. The installer said with this brand, it is the best. I am happy!

The new stuff supposedly doesn't harden, yellow, and crack like a dry lake bed after three years... like the old stuff did. I see some really badly deteriorated stuff on 3-5 year old vehicles at auction.

My 2500 mile update. 73 engine hours, 18.7 mpg average. Not too shabby.

I head out to WA next weekend, fully loaded, travel trailer in tow. My new gig is going to pay my mileage at the current IRS rate. I wonder if I will be able to make any money on it

Get a tuner in there... Even with emissions in place, I was getting a solid 18.8 with my dually on the highway... Before the tune I was getting 16.5 - 17. That's empty, and US MPG
Regens were less frequent, or didn't last as long to be noticeable.




I'd sell you my H&S for $200 if I didn't have to pay a shop to reflash my truck... Now it's VIN locked to my truck, and H&S is pretty much toast

I get 9-10 in the '14 LML pulling the 24' trailer or Bobcat.
