Jeff, this the hatred I mentioned.

Good God, man.

Matt, it is still at the dealer. I did sign all the paperwork :)

Now it is getting the Rhino sprayed THEN the Leer canopy install

Yes, you are right. I do HATE that GM cuts corners, but still charges a premium.

Guilty as charged.

Cheap bastards.

I guess being relieved of all debt AND getting a $45B tax relief is not enough. Ford still kicks their ass.

I don't know if they've made it up that far north, but down here in the lower 48 we have these cell phones with cameras and internet access that let us snap pictures and upload them really quick, can even do it from the dealership. :jester:

Darky and Dr. Bob made me post a picture of the 'Hoe before driving off the lot.

Yep.

I will be sure to get you some hi res shots of the engine compartment to make fun of.

You call me a fanboy for whatever fucked up reason, but I am not railing on other trucks. I liked all of them.

I am not sure why you are really pissed.

Karl have you upgraded your headlight bulbs to HID? Looks like a pretty slick setup finally with the projectors

No worries, it's all good. I am just rattling your cage about being a GM fanboi. I do think it would have taken an act of God for you to buy a non-Gm though. :jester:

But hey, at least you looked at the others.

I refuse to defend any company based on pure brand loyalty. I call it like I see it...regardless of brand. Right now I am down on GM big time. And I feel I have every right to be.

Congrats on the truck though. I hope it serves you well.

I looked at it, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. The main thing that stopped me was some complaints about the spread from the stock projectors. It honestly might be people being over-critical, but that got me looking at the aftermarket projectors, and it started looking like $400+ to do the job. I only want to tear it apart once, so I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I thought I saw somewhere that the Silverados are actually easier due to the separate hi/low bulbs.

Once bike season hits, I'm planning on making final decisions on lights, and getting some bilsteins taken care of as well.
