Hey guys! I've been all over my hometown and the internet today trying to get a straight answer. I want to level my Sierra. I don't have any plans to jack it up and would rather drop the rear to close the gap between the tire and fender wells. I had planned on just removing the factory blocks in the back, but was hit with the million dollar question... Will it throw my pinion angle off? If so, is it enough to need shimmed. I have found a million answers for yes and no... What do you all say? Thanks!

On my old half-ton, it made my pinion angle better. It was a GMT900, but you have the same differential, and likely same springs.

Yeah, I didn't think it'd bother anything, but the guy at the shop seemed real unsure about it. So... I figured I'd come home a do a little more research first.

You can always put a an angle reader on your DS before you take the blocks out and then check it again after you remove the blocks and see what the difference is.
