I drove to the dealer lot to check them out today. They happened to have the color combo that I want with the options I would get (except the 6.2). So I thought maybe I'll try to deal today albeit a long shot so I have only traded in a truck once in my life. I expected to be blown away seeing them in person. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The seats kick ass and I do like some of the body lines. The front end will have to grow on me but it isn't horrible. I like the instrument cluster but the dash layout looks like it was pieced together with spare parts from the GM parts bin. It looked better in pictures I thought. The fit/finish of the different dash components had a little to be desired. Overall, it just looked way too "busy." The interior is what I originally was excited about but it turned out to be the biggest dissappointment. IMO they are still behind Dodge & Ford when it comes to interiors. After seeing it in person, it was quite the downer. The powertrain is awesome and that alone will give me the motivation to upgrade...eventually (2-4 years). The dealer visit today definitely convinced me to stay in my 900 for a few more years.

Full disclosure: We just finished driving several BMW cars at the Ultimate Drive Event so I went from those cars to the GMC lot across the street. Expectations were probably a little out of line after coming from road course drives in new 3, 5, 6, & 7 series. Its all relative.
