One of the sales guys I buy from told me he went to the GM truck event this week. He wouldn't give me any details other than it was tough & mean looking. He's convinced that I'll be back to see him within 6 months to buy one.
It can be tough and mean looking and still be all chromed up with square wheel wells.

I don't have high hopes... All three companies seem to think that the only way to sell trucks is to make the front ends have as much chrome as physically possible.

Which looks stupid.

A little chrome is OK. It's the styling that they seem to have lost me on.

Well the current style seems to just be "BIG!". Make at as big as possible, because that means more chrome!

I don't have a problem with chrome, I have a problem with chrome when there's no contrast. Like on the 2012 half ton Silverados, they added those fucking chrome bumper caps, which made an already mediocre front end design just look awkward and gaudy.

Reminds me of the GMT400's if the grill didn't arch up.

All that chrome is actually not my cup of tea, but if it resembles a GMT400 might be interesting. But now all we have to do is wait...
Did someone say GMT400???

Agreed. I also don't like the thought of the lens being recessed to catch bugs and dirt between the clear and the chrome.
Actually, it looks like there's a flat, clear plastic piece in front of it that's recessed maybe 1/4". I think it would look good and the projectors may or may not be good enough for aftermarket lights.

However, if the front end is going to have as much chrome as a Super Duty.....forget about it! :puke:

That's the "lens" I was referring to, not the projector lens. Sorry. It's that 1/4" lip that I was talking about though. It'll catch shit.

I guess I didn't think it would catch that much. :dunno: I guess I am use to all headlights being even with the grill. It could act like a bowl and catch any and all snow/slop/dirt.
