Ha. Yeah, I suppose. Assuming I could find a '13 with the options I want, it would be close to the same price as ordering a '14. Hell, 3 year old Wranglers are only a few thousand less than a new one. Their resale is phenomenal.

They don't have to discount Wranglers by $10k+ to move them off the lots (unlike the Big 3 when it comes to trucks )

Yeah, IF I were to buy another GM vehicle, I would most likely wait until the big incentives kicked in towards the end of the model year.

Oh I could never daily drive one.

My company recently gave us a buyout option in conjunction with a monthly allowance if we turn in our company car. I jumped all over it. So I'm turning in the Escape in a few weeks and I'll start daily driving the truck again. The Jeep will just be a weekend/nice weather vehicle. And something to tinker with.

Okay. I was just about to ask WTF was wrong with you.

I could never. Ever. Daily drive anything but a fullsize truck or SUV. I have tried, I have spent weeks in fullsize cars, and other mid SUVs, and I just can't stand it. Christ, now I am so used to my heavy, lumbering 2500 on 20s, that half tons feel dainty. :jester:

Tried to buy the wife an X5 a few weeks ago, and as I drove it to show her, even I was thinking "I am not sure I could drive this everyday" Sweet ride, though, I wanted her to want it...she refused. She wants a damn Tahoe.

I'm with you Scott! I've had a ton of vehicles since I turned 15 but I always had a truck to go with it. I won't be able to do without one.

I can't stand that Escape but it didn't make sense to let a free vehicle sit so suffered through it during the week. I'll be glad to get rid of it.

My wife just received a promotion & will now be getting a company car after the first of the year. I'm not sure I can justify letting her X5 sit in the garage since she will have her company ride to drive. Hell, she only put 6,500 miles on it in the last 14 months as it is. It may end up being sold in a few months. :(

I can't say I blame your wife if she is used to a truck or full size SUV. I love our X5 and it is a blast to drive. But it always feels good to get back in my truck after taking the X5 on a trip.

There are good elements. But, I'm seeing too many things that aren't good. :uhoh:

True... but most SEMA vehicles are pretty ridiculous.
