You let all that stuff cake on there? That is going to be tough getting that crap off.
I can pressure wash it spotless in an hour and I do so in between mud baths. Don't exactly know what you mean by "letting it get caked on there" when we were riding in the mud.
It looks like you let it dry on there... sorry should have been more specific.

Do you find that mud gets on the hand grips, then becomes slick and starts to rub on your hands?
BTW on that bumper, watch out for some, they wont let you open the storage lid all the way...

Yeah it gets pretty slick if I don't take the time to wash the mud off my hands before hopping back on.
The slick part is really the worst part about it. The rubbing on my hands part doesn't bother me because I have man hands.
I think the bumper above limits that lid from opening all the way. I don't put much in there. Maybe a rain jacket or my muck boots. I keep the straps in the rear end compartment.
