A luxury car costing over $40k has no business with a 4 Banger. The engine note just doesn't just say "luxury." Rode in a new 9-5 with a Turbo 4 when i was in Salt Lake City and just couldn't get over how the sounds coming from the engine don't match the car.

A luxury car costing over $40k has no business with a 4 Banger. The engine note just doesn't just say "luxury." Rode in a new 9-5 with a Turbo 4 when i was in Salt Lake City and just couldn't get over how the sounds coming from the engine don't match the car.

Actually the sound of the engine is not what matters more for a luxury car, but a 4-banger in a Cadillac is quite unexpectable because the number of cylinders is still often perceived as a luxury feature.

This isn't directed at you specifically but I do think it is worth noting that the "**** the Middle East and their oil" mentality and the "Nothing less than a V8 for me, ever!" mentality just really don't go hand-in-hand.
