Maybe the way the economy is, the owners might be telling the drivers to not wreck their shit. When was the last notable caution flag thrown for a wreck. The most excitement so far this year involved a damn jet dryer.

Maybe they're all afraid of having to "top" the jet drier incident and no one wants to "go first."

It seems to me like they're all afraid to race hard.. You might see one or two bumps here & there, but then they just "let it go." No one seems to be FIGHTING for the lead.. or pretty much ANY spot on the track!

All that equals...BORING. It just dawned on me why Harvick might be wimping out. Maybe he wants to be in one piece when his wife gives birth to their child. :dunno:

I think Gordon is legitimately having "just a bad year." I think Kahne's has started off the same way. I have no idea what's wrong with Harvick.. At the end of last year, he claimed "if he had known not having the distraction of his own team could bring that kind of success, he would've closed-up shop a long time ago!" I could see how his and Delana's routines have probably been messed-up, though.. Has she even been at the track recently? :dunno:

It's kinda crazy that Jr. is in 2nd place in overall Cup points, but Johnson isn't even in the top 5, Gordon isn't in the top 15, and Kahne isn't in the top 20?

Talk about Bizarro World..

She was there last week. I saw her standing with him during the Star Spangled Banner.

I really thought Harvick and Kryle would have bumped each other a bit last night when they were racing side by side. Hell, they just got away from each other. :dunno:

Maybe their being more cautious because of the new points system....a couple of bad races is very difficult to recover from...your more or less screwed for the rest of the season! :dunno:

I'd rather blame the Busch brothers than the points system! :jester:
