I have to agree. If somebody pays WAY too much for a car and the proceeds go to charity... that's cool!

The problem with the ford mustang is that they've flooded the market with the special editions. Everyone and their mother has one, and there is about 800 special editions. Roush, Shelby, Saleen, gt500, gt, boss, mach1.....I could go on.

I consider myself a car guy, but ask me to pick that car out of the rest of the blue ones? Not happening. It's a shame ford let's everyone make a special edition because that way you really can't tell when you see the 'ultimate' mustang.

They are all the same. I can't tell the difference from that blue one to any other special edition mustang out there.

Sadly the Camaro is headed the same direction, but I don't think you'll ever see the extremes ford has gone to.

What I'm trying to say is that since they've flooded the market with 800,000 different editions, there's no point in even owning a car like this. When you see a Ferrari, you know what it is. See this car on the street it's just another mustang.

It does appear that every other day there is a new Mustang or Camaro out there that is the "ULTIMATE" version.

Everything has now gone the way of EXTREME. Nobody is happy with regular anymore. They are trained to believe that they have to have the EXTREME edition or be a failure.
