EPA figures may be a joke but without em car manufacturers would be putting 25 or even 28 mpg as their highway rating on current trucks. *Your mileage may vary*

I remember GM putting 40 plus mpg window stickers on Chevy Chevettes in the early days. Of course people were lucky to get over 20.

I just read( in my hot little hands actually) Trucks Plus which is a canadian truck &suv mag that 12 canadian auto writers test drove the new eco boost and averaged 23mpg or 10.2L/100km with 3.73 gears driving nicely. The best was 28.9mpg or 8.1L/100km:eek:
The writer also wrote that while it can tow 5000kgs/11000lbs he towed just over 3000kgs and it "felt fine - but it also felt like "enough" " any more might start causing the "tail to wag the dog".

But that is meaningless when the discussion is about official EPA figures.

CANADA SAID SO.:cflag:

What's a 'canada'?

It's like a USA but colder, with a little more eh, higher gas prices and a lot of mudflaps. :D

Oh...yeah Canada...Fly over country for Santa.

 Not surprising. I'm a big fan of competition, free markets etc. They can thank themselves for foreign automakers taking over half the US auto market.
