Just replaced my drivers side axle, and wow what a world of difference drive wise.

Next step up is to remove my ported throttle body and to post that for sale. I never really put a tuner on it, so never have truly reached its full potential. After that, I'm going for a deep detail to bring some of its luster back to the service, I hope. :)

Change in plans as I added an all Kicker Speaker set up just for the heck of it. Front dash speakers are 3.5, front doors I used 6.5 with adapters, and rears are 6x9.

Right on, yeah Crutchfield is the ultimate for research, but their pricing is high unless there is a good sale. Great folks, though. Their customer service is second to none.

I like that unit. I am going to do one last system build, and it is going to be in my old Tahoe, not my truck. I have amps, sound processors, subs and speakers already, but I am debating on what to with the head unit. It has a Pioneer Premier but I HATE the controls. It is the least intuitive head unit I have ever had, and the Bluetooth sucks.

Look forward to seeing how yours turns out!
I agree, Crutchfield is a good source for info but spendy. Tech support is awesome.

Well no new update to speak of as I'm currently pulling my ported throttle body and putting back my oem one. I know that I'm not really interested in adding speed so stock accented with the " Pedal Commander " is all good by me.

How is that Pedal Commander working? I'm starting to think that I need more throttle response out of my truck

The Pedal Commander is like magic. I've had several people who have driven my 5.7 Hemi and once going felt fine. The major complaint was the throttle response was severally lacking. So once I installed this, had two of the same friends drive it again. Let's just say I almost needed new seat covers lol. The best part is with the settings, there's a sweet spot for everyone. I have mine set to " Sport 0 " and it's perfect for hitting that on ramp and avoiding that person who wants to merge into you.
