2011 Ford Raptor really worth it?

in all honesty.. id buy a nice used 2005 f150 or so... slap a super charger on it.. wide fiberglass fender's, a bad ass desert runner suspension on it, new wheels and tires.. and a roll cage. and boom. you'd have a one of a kind truck, that is more capable, better looking, and probebly the same price if not cheaper than the raptor.

Sorry, im just against the raptor... looks ugly to me. But a lifted 05 style looks bad ass! regular bed of course.. not short... cause they ugly.

40K for a off road/baja capable truck with 11 inches of suspension travel and all the factory options with a warranty..... Yeah I think its worth it!

If I had the money It would have been tested thoroughly by now! Why do people hate so much on the Raptor? No one talks smack about the Platinum trucks costing 45K+ and is way less capable than the Raptor.

as far as offroad...i would put the nite up against it any day...thats just me..it would woop my ass on a track...but i think i can take it offroad.

I'm not really slamming it. I just think that it is limited in what/where it can go. On the flip side, my truck cannot run dunes at 60.

Your truck was built with off roading in mind. The raptor was built with baja racing in mind so 4x4 and long travel was a given which works with off road situations. The truck is a win win!
