If it was me a diesel no brainer. Yet I am looking to get a toy hauler and build a few porkects, also depends on how my schooling goes. Anymore I look at all 1/2 tons as a toy, with a diesel anymore. You can make it do 12's in the quarter mile, tow a house, and spend in enjoyable weekend in the desert cruising around. While getting great MPG and will last a while.

Over the whole lift it sky high, when I could lift it 3~4inches and have 20inches of travel. Thuren makes a 6 inch lift that will give you close to the same numbers of their long travel kit. You are going to get roughly 4 inches of lift from a kit anyways. With the coliovers and tires, tuck 40's with ease and have the performance to back up the bling.

Yup on the power.

F150 4wd can run 35's (select rim backspacing) with a leveling kit. 37's on the raptor.

F250-350 can run 35's and 37's(select rim backspacing) on a leveling kit and will hardly notice the power lost, unlike a 1/2 ton.

what about a 6in lift?

would 12in be too much?

6inch I like 37's, looks proportional.

12inch at least 40's, at least.

Go with a 8inch can run 37's~40's(depending on rim backspacing)

Having a truck lifted sky high is cool for a couple of months for a daily driver. After a while it gets old real quick, to me anyways and if you use it like a truck. Want show than go big or go home. As in a Kodiak or Topkick!
