When it happened it looked like about 6 of them were trying to fit where three cars could go.
That definitely contributed to it. 
I didn't get to watch the race, was at work..... just got to watch the live leader board on Nascar's site.

It's funny you mention that.. One of mine went way back because of the wreck, but two came way up. So, I think I benefited from the wreck, too.
