Don't think so... it is a pretty plain jane F150... :dunno:
But I will check and see.
I am taking my code reader over there in a bit to see if there are any codes set.

I would think a light would come on if it had thrown a code.. :dunno:

There was a recall on F150 cruise control modules - Brian was being serious about disconnecting it before it caught on fire. I don't know the affected years, but it seems like some of the newer ones were included. :dunno:

Otherwise, I have nothing useful to add to this thread. :jester:

Thanks Wayne.
I will mention the recall to him, but he bought it new and if there was a recall on "HIS" truck, they would have notified him... I would think...:dunno:

But the issue he has, boils down to tall grass hitting "SOMETHING" under the truck and disabling the cruise... but only for a few days... then the stupid thing works fine... till the next time you drive it through tall grass.

Weird Ford...  :rollin:

With the possibility of it maybe catching on fire (if that recall applies to his), I'd think it'd be a damn good idea to take it to a local dealer and have them run a VIN check on any outstanding recalls.. :dunno:
