The 20's or your stock 16's on the OBS look good?

Right now I have 99-02 16's for the summer. The 03+ were too hard to find and out of my price range.

I guess we'll have to wait until next fall to see them on your truck.:jester:

The stocks on your truck, which are the ones i had before look good on OBS's.

Those stock rims you have went 99-03, 04-07 classic had the 17's. And the 20's i have were an option i believe.

Here was my winter mode, but not no more!

sweet looking truck

Thank ya.

Kyle...now you need to start working on that Lux amp upgrade.

It's time consuming...but doable...and the results are great.

It's like a BlackBear tune for your radio.

How much will this cost me?

Just the amp....I found mine out of a Sierra Denali for 150+20 for shipping...then you will need to get your head unit programmed to speak with the lux amp. I have a contact who can do it if you decide to go through with it...

Thats not bad, really. Maybe this summer i will do this, your gonna have to help

Name the day(s)...

Start looking for the Sierra Denali amp now...www.car-part.com works well. They are hard to come by...and start reading this:

Sooo after just looking at the post, why can't you just buy an aftermarket amp and have it installed..... seems a hell of a lot easier than going through that mess. :dunno:

Well...keep in mind that that those are the instructions for the whole nav system install. We would just be doing the amp.

Basically...take old amp out, move pins around, plug new amp in, reprogram head unit, enjoy.

We should have compared sound systems at the BB meet. You guys would have been amazed...hell, my rearview mirror shakes now...from the stock "no highs, no lows it must be BOSE" sound system.

I don't have the rims you had. Mine are the previous version.

When I was looking for a set of newer GM rims, the rims like yours that I saw were either beat up, had bad tires on them, or were too much money.

I think if I had to go bigger, I'd like to stick with 17's.

These are 17 (I think they were from 07-pres.) I really like these, but I haven't found a pic of them on an OBS.

These are the 17's that are on Matt's (Z71_Silvy) truck on an OBS Tahoe

Well...just remember that they come with an auto 4WD system...that is why I didn't want one...plus, an amp is cheaper than a whole new truck...

And get your hood protected with that 3M stuff before it gets all chipped up.
