Yeah mines my daily driver so I want to keep it looking good and still be able to go in the woods. I had a little rubbing the other day at full lock going over rocks

I plan to leave mine as stock looking as possible.I need to get a chance to bomb it through a mud pit or run it down the backroads to make sure it will clear under the harshest thrashing.

Well today I replaced the rear diff fluid then whent trail riding. But I tried to climb a sand hill that I have climbed before but I could not make it to the top. The hill is all very lose sand. I tried to get a good run at it but didn't matter how fast I went after I got half way up it I would just come to a stop. It would slow down really fast as soon as I started going up the hill. Once I came to a stop it didn't matter how much gas I gave it the tires would not spin. Last time I climbed it I could dig holes with all 4 tires if I went to slow up the hill. What could cause it to not be able to spin the tires?

If you didn't change your gear ratio to match up with your new bigger tire size you'll lose the torque needed to spin them. Its a fine line between low enough(numerically higher) gearing to roast the tires and a high enough(numerically lower) so you aren't on the rev limiter on the highway.

I would suggest upgrading to 4:10 or 4.56 gears to maximize both scenarios.

I know I need to regear. But I have spun all 4 tires at once with the 35's. I left a black mark going up the rock.

Changed the transmission fluid it shifts better and climbs a little better but definitely need to regear. The tires are really good if I have it in 4lo. Had to pull out a buried jeep then pull it out of the woods through 4 more deep soupy mud holes. I didn't even need to really junk him just tighned up and pulled. I dug some good trenches to.

Ok so went and got an estimate to regear. Plan was to go to 4.56's but they said for a daily driver it will run to hot. They said 4.10's is what I need. So for parts and labor was $2500. That seams really high. Going to check the one other place here that can do it but I think I am going to be doing it myself. I found gear sets and bearing kits on summit racing for $550 then I just need axle bearings and seals for rear and front axle seals. I have a how to for both diffs. So I should be able to get it done. I plan on doing the front diff one weekend and then the rear diff the next weekend. I still have to drive it to work during the week.

4.10s will work, but 4.56s would be better. I seriously doubt you would have any problems with overheating unless you were running 90+ down the highway for miles and miles on end.
