2000 mustang no start

4.6l manual trans

Car will only try to starts if the gas pedal is all the way down. Then only kinda sputters for a sec then dies. I tried unplug the maf no change. Ideas?

Spray some staring fluid in the throttle bottle. If it start it more than likely has low fuel pressure. Could be a bad pump or a clogged filter.

Put a gauge on the rail and see what fuel pressure your getting.

Well the car mentioned above had other issues. Brother in law took it to a shop and got a hefty bill.

Well I believe the shop said on of the spark plugs blew out of something.

What I know for sure is they had to replace the head on the ds and the timing chains cuz they were wore out.
