Just a thought....replace the bad cluster with one from a Pick-A-Part yard.I did mine & a friends recently.I know you might not have the time but maybe he does? :dunno:

I paid less that $20.00 for each and all the gauges worked fine and easy to change.

The one drawback is the mileage will be different.

Where is Scotty anyway, have not seen him on here or FB lately.

I been busy. I do have an actual job. Plus on my days off I have been working on my Father in law's rental property. The previous tenants destroyed the place.

And to answer your question Jarrod, no the 99-02 clusters don't have stepper motors like the 03 ones. But I do have a working cluster for sale if you are interested. $75 shipped OBO.
