Just a thought....replace the bad cluster with one from a Pick-A-Part yard.I did mine & a friends recently.I know you might not have the time but maybe he does?

I paid less that $20.00 for each and all the gauges worked fine and easy to change.

The one drawback is the mileage will be different.

I been busy. I do have an actual job. Plus on my days off I have been working on my Father in law's rental property. The previous tenants destroyed the place.

And to answer your question Jarrod, no the 99-02 clusters don't have stepper motors like the 03 ones. But I do have a working cluster for sale if you are interested. $75 shipped OBO.
