Get my message yet? Get alot of spammers? Or you just trigger happy? Or hate FORD?
Yes we get a lot of spammers, not unusual for a spammer to bump an old thread, just like your first post.

Trigger happy? No that would be the Penguin, you'll meet him soon enough.

Hate Ford? No I have one sitting in the garage right now.

Hater.

Yep gas tank developed a nice leak.. After being driven for 2 weeks. kinda odd. underside right by the strap. suppose some nice salt worked its way up there and did its magic for a few years. :fume:
$124 for a new one. Gotta do something stupid on my day off. lol.

The straps can rub a little if they are not tight, plus they can hold the salt so you get a double whammy. The old sludge gas was probably caking the bottom of the tank and once it started breaking up with fresh gas the leak showed up. Good luck getting it fixed. :ohnoes:
