I have always wondered how they sync 2 V8's in series to keep them from actually fighting each other?

I have always thought the same thing, you would think the second one would have to pull a different RPM to actually add HP's to the rear rather than just spinning from the front one. :dunno:

All you need to do is try to make sure each piston is firing at a different time and not fight each other. Its the same as going from a V6 to a V12. We had 2 joined together (both V6's) with a drive shaft for an irrigation motor once. One couldn't pump it, but together it worked pretty good. You just don't want to be around when the u-joint goes out...
