Good to see ya here man. Hope Christmas was good up your way!

BTW. Those GM pads might be expensive but they practically last forever. I guess it depends on how long you plan to drive the vehicle.

The pads might last another 100K, but you'll be visiting the rotors in that time frame, and it'd be in your best interest to re-lube the sliding components, and you may have to replace a seal or two in the calipers down the road.

Long story, short ... you'll be doing other brake work, so it's not really prohibitive if you get a lesser life pad for half price.

I'd replace rotors with the pads myself on a vehicle with some miles on it.

I have REALLY good luck with the premium ceramics sold by the Advance Auto Parts chain. I have over 80K on them on my Explorer and they have about 35% remaining.

That's one of the sets I was lookin at too.

Scotty, you're also probably not gonna have that 'Burb for another 100K anyway!

Says who? :dunno:

The law of averages.

Once I get that Blackbear tune, I'll be drivin it so much I'll put 30k on it in the next year alone.

30K/yr is a LOT of miles.

The bad part was I was doin oil changes every month or so. :dunno:
