I should probably replace my brake fluid and power steering fluid. I replaced the coolant this summer when I replaced my water pump. I replaced my trans fluid and filter about two years ago, less than 20k miles ago.

I'm a couple hundred miles from hittin 99k, so we'll be doin it about the same time. I'm plannin on doing the exact same thing; a complete fluid swap to AMSoil. MIGHT do a brake job while I'm in the process. I'm still debating on trying to do the spark plugs myself :dunno:

The articles I've read on how to do it makes me think I could possibly do it myself. It's just a scary process :ohnoes:

I had a shop do the plugs because I know Id break them and need to get the truck towed to a shop to fix it anyway.
I think they broke 2 of them if I remember right. Cost me around $410 to get them changed.

That's about what the shop quoted me

3V Mod Motors eat plugs. Pretty common for them to break off in the heads when trying to remove them.

The plugs on these trucks fWONking suck. And that is putting it nicely.

They almost always break in the heads due to the two piece design unless you do it a certain way

EDIT: DAMMIT MATT  What he said

Damn, I think that is exactly what they charged me last year for my company F150.

:ohnoes: Damn, this thread. Now I have to consider doing brake, power steering, tranny fluid changes, and a damn coolant flush. I already did the rear diff about 12K ago with Amsoil, and I did the plugs and wires around 6K ago.
