I'm active duty USAF. Got 3 years left till retirement yahoo!!

The Texas panhandle was hopping this year. Kills me that I was deployed and nearly missed the entire season.

I was up there for the summer, and at one time saw about 100 storm chasers in between Dalhart and Amarillo. There were some from U. of Mass, Texas Tech, and a few others. They had some pretty big rigs with em too (18-wheelers).

Bad A$$ Truck! I'd hate to get that beauty dented with hail!

What's the huge bumper for, deflecting debris? You know or work with any of the guys we see on Storm Chasers on Discovery Channel?

Hitting deer mostly since I do a lot of running at night. I don't work with any of those discovery guys but I have talked to a few.
