    well , preping the block for paint last night , and painted the valve covers and coil bracket, tell me what you think of the color, it is primer then red , then jut a touch of orange:spoon:

    as some of You know I blew the 5.3 and bought an LY6 6.0, well, today as I was cleaning the engine and checking the block/ rotating , I found that the pistons have some very low but noticable play when you push them from front to back, also the rod bearings look like they have a little ware ...

    :facepalm: if its a single, i would go with a S475 BORGWARNER turbo, if twins im not sure , i like the Turbonitics or magnums, it really depends on the money. i will not install any OEM style turbo:)
