Yup on the power. F150 4wd can run 35's (select rim backspacing) with a leveling kit. 37's on the raptor. F250-350 can run 35's and 37's(select rim backspacing) on a leveling kit and will hardly notice the power lost, unlike a 1/2 ton.

Because a 7.3 cost less than a Duramax and a Dodge of that year to be reliable and a kickass ride still. Duramax of that year injector issues, the dodge fuel pump and trans possible. The 7.3 a few sensors and trans~maybe.
