    Amsoil Report

Contrary to the norm I decided to run some Amsoil 5w30 in my BMW M3. There was a noticeable change in the fuel economy, to the toll of 2 MPG HWY, and response of the motor from the old Mobil 1 (20w50). Most can be attributed to the viscosity change, but I know Amsoil has always done well in...

    2700 HP Ford F-150

It's obvious this guy works in electrical... he put the already undersized intake behind the most turbulent and low pressure area on the truck. I bet it doesn't run very well, and probably suffers from alot of compressor stalling. 1 Vote for Fail

Jap POS vs. TRANS AM V8 POWER

I never got the whole drift thing... I guess I was a few years too old for that. It's fun and all, but really it was a fad. There are alot of big power SR20DET motors out there... a few of them are well in the single digits.

Jap POS vs. TRANS AM V8 POWER

I'm not claiming anything that isn't fact. My 240SX weighed 2500 lbs. with me in it, and made about 230whp with the 2.0L 4-Cyl. I was running mid 13s at 106 MPH that night with horrible 60's (2.2 - 2.4) because the car would not hook-up.

    Muffler of choice?

Maybe, alot of slang is found in the Southern German dialects. It's possible that you would have learned alot of it, and most Germans wouldn't be able to understand you completely. Basically it's the same as taking a New Yorker and putting him in Bayou country.

    Brakes Pulsing - GM Truck

New rotor and pad time. Most rotor run-out is caused by pad deposits. Be sure when you brake hard that you aren't staying on the brakes after the pads have heated up. That will leave a pad imprint on the rotor. It's probably easier for me since I have a manual and a drum e-brake.

If I had money I'd re-do my headliner in a black microsuede and have the door panels done in Zebra fur.

    Muffler of choice?

I want hand built 6:2:1 KK custom race header ala a 2.25" --> 2.5" Burns 2:1 collector with a reverse megaphone with a 2.75" single thin wall SS304 pipe running out to a Burns race muffler. I don't think you could build a better exhaust setup on my car than that. I also need to get some Sunbelt...

    Shock recommendations???

I haven't been too impressed with KYB offerings in the Japanese vehicle world. All of the shocks have too much rebound dampening and not enough compression dampening. They didn't marry very well to the spring rates (even OEM). Bilstein on the other hand builds some very nice riding dampers...
