yes true dual is one pipe coming from each bank of cats, eliminating the stock y-pipe. so one pipe runnig from each cats in your case running from the two cats on your left side and the two from your into an x or h-pipe to the mufflers is considers a true dual setup :)

you don't need one but i wold recommend putting one on

you should be able to just cut the stock y-pipe off and run an individual pipe from each cat into an x or h-pipe to you mufflers

the reason to have an x/h-pipe in your system

no you have 4 cats they switched to two in 06

to help with scavenging if i remember correctly cause both banks wont be exactly the same length. so if you don't then one will have to work harder than the other

went and picked up my front Bilstien leveling struts :thumbs: that i had been waiting to get for over two months to get because of back order:fume:. now i just need to install them to go with my rears that have been on for a month to smooth out my ride some more :)
