I've been considering that Pedal Commander too...one of the FB groups I'm on is always singing them praises! I can't do a programmer on mine without a new PCM (~$1000 for both), so this is the only real option. Like you, I don't really need more power, but getting rid of the lag would be nice!

I still check in here, and I have posted a few mods, but there aren't many folks left here. Plus, we both drive an "off" brand for most of the die hards here (this site started when a Chevy forum imploded...I drove a Chevy at the time) so we don't generally get a ton of responses in our builds...

A drop in may give some cushion for something falling into the bed, but every one I have had or seen held dirt and debris underneath it and rusted the bed floor. I would much rather have a spray/roll in or just live with a dented/scratched up bed.
