Punched my truck in the face cause its acting up! :fume:

Alright guys i started up my truck just a few min. ago and the CEL came on.. then a few seconds later it started blinking so i turned it off for a few min and then cranked it back over and the CEL stayed on steady. While all this was happening my idle was jumping all over the place it would stay...

There's nothing really all that special about them, except they have a lifetime guarantee. Thats about it. :dunno:

Yea i seen the piece hanging down from the tube and wondered why on earth they would design it like that since it would disrupt the smooth flow of air into your intake. So... basically to get the same effect i would just be better off with a strait through pipe and stock airbox?

Then why buy the whole kit when all i would need is the air filter? cause my stock tubes would be pretty much the same thing as a CAI kit.

Well guys i'm in a bit of a pickle right now. I purchased a CAI from ACT Industries a few days ago and now its in and its time to install. Removed the fan shroud, and stock air intake parts... Come to find out my fan is conveniently in the way of the whole operation. Check out the video to see...
