Yes, but it won't be as deep as a good aftermarket/custom setup. Just swap in a Dynomax Bullet, Magnaflow, or Borla. They all sound great with stock tail pipes.

3" true duals is way too big for a N/A small block, even for a blown small block. The low end torque gained by the headers would be lost by exhaust velocity being too low. Does that Magnaflow have an internal X-pipe?

I think it's physically impossible to be disappointed with Magnapacks. They sound good on everything be it a Mustang or F150. Check my vid in my sig for a real short take off with them.

It really depends on what you've got so far. Stock exhaust or aftermarket? Don't care for sound? Just want it to look cleaner? If it's stock, just hack the pipe off after it's dumped over the rear axle. No problems at all. If you've got an aftermarket muffler, it will quiet the overall sound...

Mine usually stays between 145 to 170 depending on how I'm driving and the time of year. Those GM tranny's run HOT compared to the Ford ones.
