I'm trying to get a little more oomph out of the truck before the first bogs happen here May19-20th. To all the guys who will say "LS swap" its in the works for next year:fingersx: as I have a 5.3L in the other(wifeys)mud truck/my parts truck and I know where there is a company 2011 that was...

Re: 3/4 -1/2 ton bumper swap ( for cheap asses/junkyard scroungers)
My bad....I'll see if I can't remedy that tomorrow. Budweiser and Jack D are piling it on for me here....
Okay so after REPEATED warnings by local law enforcement about the illegality(:fingertime:) of having no rear bumper or licence plate light, I went in search of said parts. For those who don't know I ruined my last bumper, it included a F450 tow truck and a tow rope. Tow truck moved 3' in 2' of...

Gasoline Prices Are Not Rising, the Dollar Is Falling
Panic is in the air as gasoline prices move above $4.00 per gallon. Politicians and...
Got a used rear bumper off my co-workers 3/4ton and tried to put it on my truck. After installing it with the tailgate off, the tailgate wouldn't fit back on. Appearently there is around 3/4-1.25" difference in brackets between 1/2 and 3/4 ton. For junkyard surfers I'll make a thread on making...

The plastic bumpers would be torn off.
Amazing feat of strength. I wouldn't ever want to be in a similar situation. A little bit of safety goes a LONG way.
Use a small screwdriver/paperclip/what have you and come in from pin end to release the catch tab and it should slide ride out. Had to do same thing with fuel pump wiring on a buddys truck recently.
Changed the oil and filter in the wifes truck....was not impressed. Drained out 2.5-3 liters of oil.....no matter how many times I ask her to check her oil levels she never does.
Have at it. Its warmer here than a bunch of the rest of North america.
My previous post wasn't aimed toward the American public( ya'll) who are in no way able to change the fuel prices any more than I, rather the idiots ( elected officials) and their financial backers who dictate the...
The biggest piss off is the AMERICAN GOV'T and their friends in the big time oil companys, are the ones CREATING the crisis in the middle east. If the US gov't would sit down and shut the fWONk up and pay attn to whats happening in their own yard instead of pissing in everybody elses, trying to...
Changed the power steering pump. What a Fwonking PITA! The GD pulley shaft threads were all messed up and after running a tap into it a gazillion times we finally got the bolt to fit in....
3 hrs with 2 guys to change a power steering pump..... at least the removal and installation...
