This.:ohnoes:
Nasty stuff has the consistency of chocolate pudding. Was having some hard clunking coming from rear end in ZORV and though I had chewed up the gearset or some such. Pulled cover as this weekend is local mud bog competition and wanted to see if it would hold...
It looks a lot worse in the picture.....in person it has a lot of space to work on stuff..( if you have the electronic equipment to diagnose the dilithyum crystals and muffler bearings along with all the other sensors)
Seen the first one in all of Canada this weekend.....
Want one. The interior is really comfortable and with the new engines these things should be killer. The wife is not convinced this is the truck to have since a friend of Dennis and myself showed her his 2013 Dodge...
C'mon guys just imagine this bad boy with some 22" wheels, fake wood panelling, roof wing, chin spoiler, sun visor, shag carpet, under body glow kit and a custom airbrushed desert scene on the side.....pretty cool no?
:jester:
If this is not on private land its guys like this that ruin the sport for others by getting trails shut down. Im not saying the spinning of tires wasn't necassary, but the blatant 4 wheel smoke shows were not. If you cant make it up under your own power get a damn winch!
:nono: Friends don't let friends drive Transit Connect Wagons.
Kind of screws up the saying of: Nothing says "I cant pull out'' like a minivan, when its a "people mover"
Meh...not bad but not overwhelmingly awesome. Im sure some of the T/A guys would like the larger diameter honeycomb style wheels for their older cars though.
Dug my DD and Zorv out of the snow. Got Zorv up and running and am halfway thru changing power steering pump ( for the FIFTH FWONKING time). hopefully get the steering rack changed this weekend somewhere warmer( currently -13C/8F) and with 10" less snow.
Today so far nothing. Yesterday though I seized the power steering pump, blew the serpentine belt off and nearly cooked the engine. Only made it half way to work, had it towed back home where I've cursed at it repetitively.
That sucks Scotty. I'm having to replace my trans as has no second gear and is starting to lose reverse, plus the entire power steering system...Im going for a rebuild if I cant get a complete unit for cheaper.
Sounds like remanufactured parts aren't selling so well these days....Better get Vince( shamwow guy) out on tv convincing us to buy reman parts.:jester:
Nice find! I have an 81 CB650 but yours is in a little nicer condition, although mine only has 4300 original kms on it(2670 miles). They freaking scoot too so watch your ass
Yup drive one daily. Learned with a '90- F150 and a 5 spd, then a '64 C10 with a 4spd, then into 3 tons and then to big rigs. Driven 5spd with split diff, 7 speed "U" shift( really wierd pattern), 9spd, 13,15 and 18. Never had a chance at a 5&4, 10 spd or super 10. Also had a Sunfire with a 5spd...
Changed oil in wifes truck and added some fog lights. My truck is pissing me off, trans has dropped 2nd gear completely, won't upshift or down shift into second, ATF is still nice and red too....
The only issue with the 302 I've ever experienced was bad fan clutches, vacuum leaks( Ford and their better ideas:p), starter solenoids, and dead cylinders. The dead cylinders are usually from old plug wires and fan clutches do wear out and the solenoids are cheap( carry a screwdriver)...other...
Thats sad. I taught myself to weld and 98% of the time I will have a nice smooth continuous bead. I'll even post pics! Those welds look like they didn't have their welder set to the right settings. Again like I said I'm not much of a welder, but If I was paying for work to be done I'd want it to...
Had my trucks ass handed to it, not only by Dennis' truck, but also by a twin turbo Dirty max. Rolling at 70-75mph my passenger gives this Dmax the thumbs up to thumbs down as I punch it to try and get away from an everclosing in Dennis, he walked away from me like I was standing still! When we...
