I spent six years in the Navy and operated and worked on small craft of all types, so I can say this with absolute confidence...
The pointy end is the front.
Usually.

I use Silblade FlexBlade silicone wipers on both the wife's truck and my own and love 'em.

I also use the RainX washer fluid, but I'm thinking about switching to the Prestone DeIcer fluid for the winter. I've used it before and it's pretty darn good.
There you go, being all logical and making sense and everything. This is TMC. Are you allowed to do stuff like that on here? Especially with you being a moderator and all. You're supposed to lead by example. A true TMC response would have been something like, "Debadge it or replace it with...
AFAIK, it's never been used, since the truck spent it's whole life in West Palm Beach before I bought it.
My thinking is along the lines of Jim's... swap it out for the 1000w unit and know it's good, no matter what the temperature goes down to. Hmmm... crazy thought... I have a 1,500w...
Next step is to fix/check the block heater. Someone cut the plug off it before I bought the truck. I'm not sure if that was because the heater was no good, or if the plug just got caught on something and tore off. A new cord is $24, new heater is a little over twice that, and comes with a new...
Feds mandated side markers starting with the '68 model year, so it's either '67 or a '68 that someone changed the fenders on. I'm inclined to agree with the folks saying it's a '67 with a '68 grille.
About $275 total. I went with the Diesel Rx plugs and relay so the parts were about $125, then $140 labor (book calls it a two hour job and it actually took three) plus tip for the mechanic who came in on his day off to do it after they couldn't get to it yesterday. I let the shop do it...
You young kids today... Why, in my day, all we had was the drivers mirror and the inside mirror and we hardly ever caused multi-car pileups. Take that fwonker off and get rid of it, then you won't have any problem.
:D2
No big deal actually. The bumper (mine) is 1/4" diamond plate painted white. The dent I don't really care about, and I can touch up the paint with the rattle can of Rustolem white I keep in the truck just for those kind of things. :)
Backed into the front of a semi when I was backing out of the shop. No damage to the semi, but I have a new dent in my rear bumper where one of his recovery hooks hit.
(Note to self: no matter what the guy guiding you out says, check your fwonking mirrors.)
