Update!
Scored OEM Firehawk wheels thanks to craigslist! These are very very very hard to find, and I've been looking for almost a year. They will be re-chromed but totally worth it. New tires will go on them sometime, so I'll have two sets of wheels & tires for the car.
Next on the...
They're in West Des Moines. And I just told the guy I am going to pas on them. IF they were alot closer to me, I'd be all over the deal.
The place I get my tires from has beat out all the prices of everyone else in my area. But does not offer lifetime balance. And I dont drive enough in...
You are correct and I agree. Yesterday I asked the owner of the local Good Year and he said the exact same thing you just said.
They were filled with nitrogen since new. If that has anything to do with it?
Kind of what I assumed also.
After thinking about it, these are 4 hours and...
I just don't like putting all the time, money and effort into my truck just to drive it in the salt and wreck it. No matter how good you think its clean after washing the salt off, it ends up somewhere you can't clean and starts rotting.
Sad part is your probably right  Its a little road trip, but willing to make the drive to save $$$.
I just don't know anything about tread depth on tires, if he's just guessing about it or what, in relation to the mileage.

I have him down to $950 for them, but they're 4 hours...
Front plates are HORRIBLE looking, they wreck the front end. In MN we are suppose to run one, but no way in hell am I putting one on the Firehawk
Vette looks great BTW.

Re: The official pics of any vehicle thread
Here is a Duramax for sale on Minneapolis Craigslist. HAHA  Who ever decided to paint that green on the poor truck should be shot IMO. Paint it all black and you got yourself a nice truck.
Been working for my neighbors growing commercial landscape company since I was 15 years old. Employed there for 9 years already
Also a paid on call Firefighter for the city I live in. Going on 4 years now.
