these are the 305/55r20. So, I know i bought these tires used at somewhere between 75 and 50% tread left, but they are just not good in snow. Even if they would be good brand new, I need to have them stay usable throughout their life. The width of the 305 is doing me no favors, but they clog up...

My trailer is 7k dry and 10 gvwr. I haven't fully loaded the trailer with the bikes and all the gear yet, so i don't know what the real number is, nor how having so much weight (streetglide + softail) in the back will affect it. I also put loads in the bed a few times a year, up to a pallet...

I've always used one as well, and they do make a difference...I was more trying to see if a WD and bags work well together, or if they're more an either-or thing. :)

This is probably the correct answer...35+ degrees today and the countdown 65mph limit went away. CEL is still on, but I'm betting that will go away with another startup cycle or two.

Oh...to be clear, in NH even non-exempt vehicles (gas or diesel) "emissions testing" is purely visual/OBD plug-in to check for codes. No sniffers at all...

regarding a delete...I hope this (from the NH inspection laws) is accurate: Diesel Vehicles: Model year 1997 and newer diesel vehicles with a GVWR of 8,500 lbs or less must undergo emissions testing. my truck's GVWR is 10K, so i should be exempt. That just seems weird to me though...how many...

Got a damn "Service Exhaust Fluid, 99 miles to 65MPH" warning and CEL. Didn't get any of the other mileage warnings on the fluid. I doubt it was that anyway, as it didn't even take a full 2.5 gallons before it was full. Strike one towards deleting.

not sure what year your truck is or what it has for headlights stock, but I've always gone with Sylvania SilverStar Ultras for normal halogen bulbs. nice improvement over stock, very reasonably priced...and legal.

Heh...my next question was: how real is the "1/4 tank" issue? Messing with a sump or a draw straw starts making me wonder if i want to deal with the lift right now. :)
