Tires & Lifts for Jenny's Truck

The problem isn't the M/T's it's the drivers. My MTZs were the balls...but that was also on a TJ, not a truck :) I second the Nitto's I'm currently running Terra Grappler G2s, and I'll be putting Ridge Grapplers on within the next 60 days.

Tires & Lifts for Jenny's Truck

A level kit just brings the nose of the truck up a bit to get rid of that cat in heat look. A full lift will lift the front and rear. From what you're saying you definitely just want to level it. Tires....what are you looking to do with the truck? lots of off road? mostly highway, with a little...

Tires & Lifts for Jenny's Truck

OR...rather than spending over a grand on a lift...she could spend $70 on leveling shims. She's got a 1500...coilover, not torsion bars. :)

Tires & Lifts for Jenny's Truck

Like the clown said all black don't look good some black accent on the wheels or black with chrome or silver accent sure. And by chrome accent I mean more than just the fake bead-lock nuts going around the outside. Lift...level it and call it good. Don't know if you're planning on any serious...

    Line-x or Bedtred ?

Rhino actually has multiple coatings. The old original style, which is as you describe, or they also have a product similar to Line-X called Hardliner. I had Hardliner in my '08. It seemed pretty much identical to Line-X. I can't speak to long term durablity as i didn't have that truck very...

    Line-x or Bedtred ?

yeah...here's a pic of a bed rail cover. "over the rail" spray in would go where this bed rail cover goes. Under the rail goes well....under it. ;) if you ever load from the side at all, I *highly* recommend either over the rail or bed rail covers to protect that area. Modern paint is cheap and...

Is this a good deal on a trailer?

That price seems pretty good to me...really depends on the quality of the trailer and condition. as for whether the 6.2 can pull it, it's really a matter of how much it's going to weigh once loaded. that's decent size trailer and you can put a shitload of weight in it. short hauls you can...

A few questions & recommendations from you guys

The only thing i've ever put seat covers in was my Jeep TJ, for that I went with Wet Okole. They had to be rugged and put up with a lot of crap. :)

A few questions & recommendations from you guys

for mats: i always get the floorliners the "laser measured ones". bedliner: linex spray in. tonneau: Access lorado low-profile roll up. I use my full bed a fair amount, so i went with the roll up. Soft Truck Bed Cover | Access Lorado Low Profile Tonneau

If i were to go back down the TJ hole again, I'd just get a Rubicon and leave it near stock, they're already stupidly capable. If you're going to get something else and build it up, make sure you get one with the Dana 44 in the rear. This is probably given, but you want the 4.0L. Also, make sure...

    Trailblazer or Envoy or Acadia?

I skipped all the back and forth in the thread, so I apologize if I repeat anything that's already been said, but we shopped/test drove both the 1st gen trailblazer and the acadia....before we bought our first acadia. That probably tells you what we think. :) The acadia rode better, handled...

    Harley Davidson's new direction...uggh

uh...you have a sportster...that's not a hardtail. unless you have a bike i'm forgetting about. as far as them dropping the dyna, i'm super pissed, as that will be my second bike at some point. So...the M8 engines are some great tech, but Softails handle like shit. i *highly* doubt they made...

    Penguin's new scoot.

heh...i actually turned my stock intake into about the same thing as the Slim S has 2 years before the Slim S came out because I don't like how much a lot of the hi-po ones stick out :) Mine is powder coated matte black rather than gloss though. :)
