Jeff... You are right... Turning the ignition key off and on is a MOPAR thing...

I think there is a way to make the car show you the codes... There is a sequence of turning the ignition off and on and it will cause the CHECK ENGINE light to blink in a sequence that you can count and then you decipher the codes that way.

Have you checked to see if the antenna is plugged in to the back of the radio ??????

Go to autozone and have the codes pulled... Write down the code and then post it here. It may be something other than the clockspring.

Yes... if the water around the sunroof can't get our thru the drain lines, it backs up and then runs down the OUTSIDE of the drain lines and starts dripping off of them. Also, "SOME" of the drain lines are two piece... the pieces connect at about the top of the windshield pillar. Take some...

The sunroof has 4 drain lines...one at each corner of the sunroof. The two front ones run down the pillars by the windshield. The exit somewhere around the back of the wheelwell and the exit end is kinda puckered up. If that end gets dried mud on it it can stop up and not drain.

There is always a way... if you spend enough money... :lol: You would probably be a lot better off looking for a 427 that came out of a car if you want a BIG BLOCK... Parts are plentiful for them. 500 to 600 HP is fairly easy to get. Or find a late model LS engine... either a 6L or a 6.2 L...

I think he was driving a disguised SS... it appeared to be rear wheel drive. The regular Impala is front wheel drive.
