    Wait a second, is he still using the stock CP3? if so, and he goes with upgraded injectors and twin turbos, he is not going to have enough fuel to keep up with the air flow. I've seen single turbo trucks need dual CP3s before a second turbo... Remember Clancy, the Duramax turbo can support...

    I cant go back to the 60's stuff to look it up, sorry. :( I will do some digging though and see if I can come up with that engine. :cheers: On the truck, those are the only manual transmissions I can find info for so i'm guessing its the sm465.

    He would be fine with 4.10 gears. With 5.13 gears hes going to be turning like 2800rpm on the highway. Doesnt sound bad, but the B series Cummins redlines around 3000, making the motor not very happy. A diesel engine makes its peak torque way lower down on the rpm band then a gas engine, so...

    Yeah, thant makes sense when you still have the gas motor, but with that 4BT you wont need more then 4.10 gears. The Cummins makes all its torque around 1500rpm, so its all you will need. JMO.
