And now she's home. I'm going through the brakes this week. Hoping to have her ready for some cruising by the end of the day on Saturday. Once the brakes are done I have to install the e-fans and all of the front end components.

OP, I'd have to agree with the folks directing you to the lightly smoked, stock route with the HID kit. The aftermarket lights you've linked thus far are far too ricey IMO and would really cheapen the look of your truck. If it was mine I'd definitely be looking at a different route. I think...

This is in response to the original post as I have not read all of the replies. I've got 3 kids and have had our '07 Suburban for 2 1/2 years now and love it. Honestly, we couldn't have anything smaller because we like to take road trips from time to time and when you start hauling around things...

Definitely don't give more than $300 for that and if you're thinking of turning it into a DD you have got your work cut out for you for sure.
