Mine had the brass? Float. It was a old one dad rebuilt it for me but i think it needed to be filed flat or some thing. Maybe a small crack thats what im thinking cause the darn thing just never ran right.:dunno:

I didnt have a internal filter. I always run a exturnal one on any carb.:thumbs:

Thats were i got mine for the 64 gmc. i bought the plastic ones. They are not to bad just not as flexable as the cloth one.

You can always split the exhaust 3 and 3. then you get a really cool sound. Thats how the used to do it.:thumbs:

I got it from classic parts. I do know LMC sell them also along with brothers and a few others. Its a repop of the 67-72 blazer tanks. fit right in. Only thing i had to do was remove the brace for the spare tire but if i put the wood floor back in ill have to notch the bed floor cross member...

Drove it to work. Changed out the heater fan cause it sqeeked like you wouldn't believe. Ran out of gasas i pull up to the house at lunch. And after work i put the right kickdown cable on it and hooked it up. :lol: so for a first day of driving it it was a good day!
