That's what I did. Meter set on amps. Disconnected negative battery terminal. Then put the leads in line with the battery negative and negative cable.
I know that will kill a battery over night which is why this isn't making sense to me.
So my truck has been sitting for a while. Put in a new battery since the old one wouldn't take a charge. Well, I've been chasing an alternator gauge problem and during the diagnostic found a parasitic draw. Except it doesn't drain the battery overnight or anything. Yet my draw has been 6 amps...
I heard marvel swells orings unless you use the one that's meant for air tools.

I switched to 0w30 because I like how it works in the Nissan.
It's not Amsoil but for a truck that sits a lot it's hard to justify the price.

I replaced the cat and put new gaskets in. They were never changed. 20k later still kicking.

Well I believe the shop said on of the spark plugs blew out of something.
What I know for sure is they had to replace the head on the ds and the timing chains cuz they were wore out.

4.6l manual trans
Car will only try to starts if the gas pedal is all the way down. Then only kinda sputters for a sec then dies. I tried unplug the maf no change. Ideas?
