Well i got to drive my father in laws truck today. The knocking is definitely in the steering wheel. He suggested replacing both the bearing and shaft so that it wouldn't be an issue. Sent from my iPhone 4s

Dose this clunking noise only happen when turning? My father in laws truck has a knocking sound in the dash when he drives over a bumpy road. I cant remember if its in the steering wheel or not. Its a 2006 gmc 2500HD. Sent from my iPhone 4s
